About Me

My name is Victoria and I am an artist from Brooklyn, New York. At an early age art has always been an important part of my life. It has been an outlet of expression and relaxation as well as a ‘time out’ from my busy schedule. My concentration, or main focus, has been animals and anything nature related. Each work of art I have created holds a memory that has been transferred on paper through images. My use of colors, shapes, and patterns help bring each image to life and have the viewer look at things in a different way.

Some people say that I have an innate talent in art and always refer to me as an artist. Although I take this complement to heart, I believe everyone is an artist. I feel that no matter an individuals age, gender, or artist experience, everyone is an artist. I know it took years to get to where I am today. I have drawn both the above and below pictures, can you tell? The top picture was a recent piece I created and the piece below was created in the fifth grade. Over the years I have practiced sketching, painting, and creating different works of art with mixed mediums. With patience, time, and attention for detail I feel that I have developed my skills to what they are today. Being able to express myself through art is one of my passions in life and I love to share that with others.

Although I enjoy creating different art pieces, I also love and appreciate when others enjoy my art. I love the different reactions and emotions that people have when I show them a piece I have created. When I feel that I am finished with a particular project I have a great sense of pride and elation to say that I made something beautiful, unique and one of a kind.
