WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO!

Below are a few of my favorite pieces that I have created, each hold a special memory in my heart. Please feel free to comment below and share what you think about them! I would love to hear feedback as well as answer any questions you may have about my art or art in general.

The medium used for this piece is color pencils

This drawing was inspired by a co-worker of mine who loves flowers and i incorporated her favorite colors which are gold, red and brown. I decided to draw the flowers free hand and from memory. I did not look at any pictures or look at any flowers while drawing this, which makes it even more special. On my lunch breaks I would keep adding to it and I was so happy with the way it turned out.

The medium used for this piece is colored pencils.

Based on one of my favorite movies, “Finding Nemo,” this was a piece I have composed while going through a rough time.  I designed this with the intention of fitting it in the sleeve of a binder that I carry with me often for school. Whenever I am stressed out I like to glance at it and it puts a smile on my face. It reminds me that no matter what, you just have to keep swimming.

The medium used for this picture is acrylic paint (left) and a photo taken of Bella (right).

As a gift for my best friend’s 21st Birthday present, I decided to make her a portrait of her dog Bella. The painting is made up of acrylic paint with the exception of the tiara on Bella’s head which was drawn and outlined in glue and then doused in glitter to give it an extra special sparkle. It was my first time creating a painting like this and it was also the first time I had ever given someone an original painting of mine. Although I was sad to part with my finished work, my friend did love it and thought I bought it from the store. Her reaction was priceless and I was very pleased with the way it came out.

This little guy right here is the first full length elephant I ever drew. Elephants are my favorite animals and being able to draw one was a big accomplishment for me. This merely started as a doodle and I continue to sketch it out until I was pleased with the end result. This piece was inspired by a friend who gave me an elephant statue for my birthday.
